Pay Per Click (PPC) is a highly successful advertising format used by internet search engines and social media sites. Adverts appear based on click price, and cost is only accrued if the advert is clicked on. Bid rates are set by the customer, and the adverts appear on the page in order of bid price.
Due to time or other constraints, it is often not optimal for business owners to manage PPC campaigns themselves. They can require constant attention and regular alterations to the bid strategies or keywords to ensure a good return of investment.
Easyweb can manage PPC campaigns for you, ensuring that your advert reaches the customers you want it to reach. Each PPC package is carefully tailored to suit your business, with research into key phrases, advert text, budget and bids all taken into account. We can also provide updates and feedback on your campaign, including the number of ‘impressions’ (views) or ‘hits’ (clicks) your advert has experienced.
Pricing options are based around an annual fee plus a monthly payment, the latter covering your PPC budget for any clicks on the advert. Our aim is to always give you the best value for that budget and make sure it is never exceeded.
Easyweb currently offer to manage three PPC campaign types.
Google Adwords is the tried and tested PPC standard on the internet. Adwords are a highly successful and efficient way of marketing your website. It contains many tracking and diagnostic tools with information that helps us improve the ads and keep them relevant.
How it Works
The top 3 positions on Google (and up to 7 side-positions) are reserved for Google Adwords. Once an advert is created, keywords are chosen based on the business type and areas the customer wishes to target.
Ads appear based on relevancy and bid cost. If an advert and its keywords match closely the website they are linked to, then that advert is given a better position relative to its bid price.
Adverts can be paused and resumed at any time, and budgets and costs can be adjusted when required.
Microsoft bought the Yahoo search engine some time ago, and combined it with their own search engine, Bing. Since then, they have made regular improvements to their search engine and PPC system, until it is now one of the leading search engines on the internet.
How it Works
Sponsored Listings (Microsoft’s PPC adverts) made through BingAds appear on both search engines via one system, giving customers the best of both worlds.
Similarly to Google Adwords, adverts are bid on for position on the page, with the highest bids and the most relevant ads shown at the top of the page. Ads are highly customisable, and their budgets and bids can be updated in real time.
Facebook ads have quickly became one of the best methods of finding new customers on the internet. Facebook has well over a billion users worldwide, and more than half of those sign in daily.
How it Works
Facebook ads are much more customisable than the other options. Due to Facebook having so many ways for people to list their interests and status, the ad system can target any demographic required. For example, a business that offers wedding services can be set to only show to people who have a status of Engaged.
Ads are displayed on the right hand side of the page, in the case of advertising external websites. If a customer has a Facebook business page to link to, then the advert can be displayed as a large “Suggested Page” update in the main status feed.
Bids are set the same way as other PPC campaigns, but the bid only reflects the frequency of the ad being shown. All ads are given some level of visibility.
